Lord Exetheris, mannen bakom black metal "bandet" Exetheris från Grekland har tidigare i sommar släppt sin första fullängdare Timeless Mysteries". En skiva som mottagits med stora ord över hela världen, och recensioner som framhäver Lord Exetheris som en av de sista som verkligen lever som en inom genren black metal verkligen ska leva. Han tar inga genvägar, han föraktar all kommers och utövar sin tro utan att bry sig om vad andra tänker och tycker. Med andra ord; In your face Mayhem.
Tidigare i år kontaktade jag Lord Exetheris för lite mer info om honom och hans musik, och nedan följer Lord Exetheris egna ord om hans musik

It's reasonable to find it hard to get any info etc because there used to be a complete website but it was taken down and eventually a new one and better will take its place.
The album is now in the printing plant and I believe it will be officially in the hands of the label in around 1-2 weeks maximum! About exetheris, it all started back in the end of 2004 or the beginning of 2005 if you prefer, as a one man project and it will remain like that because its something personal. In 2005 there were 2 demos released, which are out of print -tape + cdr. In 2006 there were 3 splits released, 2 in cdr format and one in tape only which is actually a bootleg! The followed the trully silent year of 2007, when only one demo was released - tape/cdr even though it was characterized by its truly raw sound and power that can only be found in bands like Haemoth, torrent etc it was appreciated by many maniacs and I think it still receives some praise here. 2007 was a weird year, the mainstream english label Triple Silence did a great rip off to Exetheris back then album to be released, "Kyrie Eleison" (which means "Lord Have Mercy" in ancient greek!). That album was mastered in the GREAT necromorbus studios of Sweden but it wasnever finally released, this certain album which was the first complete work exetheris recorded will be officially released in CD format and all pro things in Oct. 2008. However, the current album release, (April 2008) is consisted of newer tracks than that! 2008 is expected to be a "good" gear for me, or "bad" for mankind one may say, since besides those 2 there is also a vengeful pro CD release that is planned in the form of a SPLIT between Goat Phallus and Exetheris, featuring the tracks of the raw demo 2007 of Exetheris. In this decadent era and this putrid years many fellow greeks, as well as well as mindless teenagers tend to lick the balls of Exetheris and please to form some joke bands, which is complete bullshit! I had been invited many times to play live but this was denied so far since I feel and I know that it needs a special preparation! I've also appreared with a few other bands. I feel very proud that I had on my side and learned from people like the great Meyhna'ch or PrimeEvil among others, truly a reflection of the past decades of Black Metal. Exetheris is not using Black Metal to be a Satanist, but because he IS a Satanist he is using Black Metal which is solely the Devil's tool! You might consider exetheris another bullet in his bloody gun! The music has mostly elements of the true Black / Death metal legacy, however granted and pushed forward by some experimental elements and ambient passages of grief. It can be characterizes by middle age nostalgia and melancholy too. However what makes it REALLY differnt from everything and everyone else is thes CONSTANT elemt of Dissonance, which could be describe as a manifest of chaos. Partly this element fades though and strangely an order of madness takes it place. You can easily notice all that if you have a musical ear, brother! Exetheris stands for StN and nothing else. However not in a mindless way (well not always ha!) since it uses the doctrine that the world is being fed in inverted and devilish ways, thus creating the Devil's Gospel in a sincere way! What once was a joke to many, let it be reality AT LAST! This is what Exetheris wants to spread and this is the ultimate goal! If you want to mark exetheris as some cliche, which I would not recommend, then [ideologicaly, in philosophic matters] you can put it near bands like Watain, Hell Militia, Diapsiquir, Ondskapt, Ofermod, Katharsis, Deathspell Omega, Antaeus, Dimhymn, Funeral Mist and so on...
